Artist's Description

The western wallflower is commonly found in about 2/3 of the United States and even Alaska. It is the most common of all the native species. Often found in the deserts of the southwest, it can still adapt to the higher altitudes of the Rocky Mountains. It is a beautiful and showy flower and highlights any wildflower meadow with it's bright yellow color.
