Artist's Description
After 3 summers of drought in Oklahoma, I finally have some flowers blooming on the nature trail in my hometown. Sunflowers are annuals and relatively easy to grow. They produce large heads filled with seeds that have many uses. The 2 most popular uses are as bird food or human food. In recent years, many flavors have been added to the seeds.
