Climbing higher on the south route out of Silverton, a beautiful view of the valley and the Animas River unfold before your eyes.... One of the things I have learned about photography is that one wants to always take the time to pause and look at where you came from, not just where you are going. Otherwise, you may miss a lot of beautiful views behind you.
