As downtown developed in the early 1900's because of the oil boom and the population influx, this triangular piece of ground was the site of a small park complete with a bandstand. In 1915, construction began on this 5 story building which later housed as many as 100 lawyers, which in the days of the oil boom were probably always in demand.
