Thanks so much Karen ! I appreciate the compliments. And your work is amazing as well.. I have shot the bison at Tallgrass many times and never get the detail like you did. I've done the same, with the same results down in the Wichitas... I can never get the detail so sharp as yours... This animal park in Williams is called Bearizona and is worth the trip.... :)

Handsome dude! I didn't know there was such a thing as a white buffalo. These pictures sure make me homesick, and after seeing all of your truly amazing images, your compliment on my images is even more special. You are a gifted photographer!

Thanks again Jim ! It seemed odd that a white buffalo isn't white but that's the way they are... He was beautiful and in great shape. It appears this park takes very good care of the animals.

About Jim McCain

Jim McCain

My personal connection with art started as a child living on a farm along historic Route 66 and the Canadian River. My mother had art talent as well, but like me, she never had any training. It wasn't until after her death that we discovered some drawings of hers from middle school. So I owe her for my interest in many forms of art. Living on the farm adjacent to the Canadian gave her the chance to teach us all about nature and the wonders to be found in the woodlands and streams. I grew to appreciate and care for all living things and that ultimately led me to photography. My first camera was an old Kodak box camera using 620 film. Our first family trip farther than Oklahoma City was to Montana when I was about 14 years old. I shot...
