Description
This is a portion of Upper Navajo Falls in Havasu Canyon. This set of falls was formed by the great flood of 2008. The original Navajo Falls is located downstream but was made dry in the flood because of a change in the main channel of Havasu Creek. Like the old Navajo Falls, the new one is spread out in a series of mini streams and waterfalls pouring over a travertine ledge. It is located between the village and Havasu Falls campground.
