Description
These young prairie dogs were photographed in the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge in southwestern Oklahoma near Lawton. Prairie dogs live in colonies called towns and burrow underground. They become somewhat accustomed to visitors in the park so will pose quite nicely for photographers.
