Description
Locally known as the Cedar Point Mill in Cedar Point, Kansas, this building was built in 1875 by O.H. Drinkwater and Peter Paul Schriver on the Cottonwood River. Then known as the Drinkwater and Schriver Flour Mill, it produced flour for both local and eastern bakeries. Previous to the construction of the flour mill, Mr. Drinkwater had built and operated a sawmill on that site. The sawmill was built in 1867.
