Description
These are leaves of the Caddo Maple, a tree native only to the sandstone canyons in west central Oklahoma. These trees provide beautiful fall color to the landscape and when winter stays up north long enough, the canyons are ablaze with reds, oranges, yellows and shades of pink and green. The color combinations are amazing and then when winter rears it's ugly head, the beautiful white snow makes the colors come alive creating a glow along the edges of the leaves.
